We have a Moderator team which will handle simple problems and disputes. If they need to escalate to the Admin team, they will do so. Mods do not make decisions regarding warning or bans, but they have authority to intervene in arguments in the group or things of that nature. If you contact the mods and they aren't able to respond in a timely manner, you may escalate to an Admin, but please try to work with the mods first.Â

The following details our procedures for Warnings, Temp Bans, and Permabans. Depending on the offence and the severity, we may decide to bypass some of these levels. Any decisions regarding warnings and any level of ban are discussed by the admin team internally, so please don't try to contact another admin about a decision that was already agreed upon by everyone from the team.
Multiple First warnings may be given for different types of offences, but repeated rule breaking of any kind may lead to a Level 1 Temporary Ban regardless of whether you broke the specific rule multiple times. For example, if you have a warning for spam and a warning for harassment, we may still issue a Level 1 Temporary Ban if you disregard an admin's directions to stop an argument with another member.
FYI: Arguing with an admin's decision is a good way to get a temporary ban.
First and Second Offence
Admin will issue a private warning through Private Message
Third Offence
Admin will issue a Level 1 Temporary Ban. The length of this ban is usually a week or two, depending on the severity of the offence. Punishments may include:

Admin will issue a Level 2 Temporary Ban. The length of this ban will depend on the offence and the severity. Punishments may include:

Fifth/Major Offence
Admin will issue a Permanent Ban from the group. Here are some things which constitute a major offence. These are simply examples. They are not all-encompassing. We can and will permaban someone if we feel it is necessary:
Lying about being 18 or over
You will be Permabanned if we learn you joined while under 18, even if you are no longer a minor.
Admitting to a violent/sexual crime
If you admit to sexual or physical assault or anything of that nature, we do not want you in this group.
Rampant transphobia/homophobia/anti-LGBTQ+ sentiments
This would require more than accidentally misgendering someone. We're talking something along the lines of going on a transphobic rant with multiple slurs or something where it's clear you have no respect for LGBTQ+ folks.
Threatening physical harm to anyone in the group
Appeals can be made after six months for any Permaban that was not due to a Major Offence. If we are convinced you are suitable to return, you will be allowed back in, but one more offence will be a 100% Permanent Ban.
